For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- At least 2 years of experience working with cloud platforms and services for data engineering (preferably GCP)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Hands-on experience with Big Data tools such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams/Connect, Druid, etc
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
- Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with other cloud services such as AWS S3 or Azure Data Factory (plus)
- Experience using version control tools such as Git
- Fluency in English and Portuguese(B2)
- Availability for hybrid work in Porto, Portugal
